Flowers By Dick Burton, Inc. proudly serves the Batavia area. We have been in business for over 25 years, buying the business in 1980. But, the shops' history originated in 1927!

We are members of the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, to which we received the honor of "Retailer of the Year" Award in '94. The shop has professionally trained designers on staff, our products are delivered fresh. We offer from the traditional, to contemporary to customized designs.

We carry a large selection of fresh flowers, blooming & green plants, greeting cards, plush animals, baby novelty containers, extensive giftware line, permanent arrangements, wall swags, wreaths, wedding work, fruit & gourmet baskets, sympathy designs, cemetery urns/plantings, balloons, in latex, foil and party decorating and so much more!

We are members of the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce from which we received the honor of Retailer of the Year for 1994.

We are members of the Associated Florists of Greater Rochester, Inc., an association of florists who promote and educate the public on floral industry affairs. Sheila Hamel was awarded the "Florist of the year" award in 2002 from the only Floral Association In New York State.

Sheila Hamel is a certified master designer. She has extensively studied international and European design techniques, and has won many design contests on local, state and regional levels. Sheila is currently working on becoming a certified balloon artist. John Hamel is a certified master florist manager after completing workshops and courses in areas of financial, marketing, and managerial systems and techniques.

Our shop serves the following areas in New York: Alexander, Attica, Batavia, Bergen, Byron, Corfu, Darien Center, East Bethany, East Pembroke, Elba, Le Roy, Oakfield, Pembroke and Stafford.

Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

Our summer hours for June, July, and August are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays throughout the summer.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $5.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
